I am deeply passionate about documenting the ongoing works of local nonprofit organizations who’s missions are dedicated toward creating an equitable, thriving, and liberated society. In June 2020 I assisted in establishing Concord Civil Activists, where we organized and protested police brutality, corruption in our local law enforcement and government, and houselessness. We were able to assist in garnering national attention by protesting at the Governors Mansion in Raleigh, NC, for Ronnie Long (Wrongfully incarcerated for 44 years) that lead to his long awaited release. Currently (2024), Ronnie is set to receive a $25 Million settlement - This is the second-largest wrongful conviction settlement ever recorded.
